As a Policy Specialist, you independently deliver end-to-end policy launches and cross-functional work projects as a key contributor, creating meaningful impact. You act as a policy project lead for developing, launching, and implementing policies in various areas across the company and relevant policy domains. You independently implement creative ways to evolve or adapt solutions to policy problems and use multiple approaches to reach an optimal solution. You influence across teams and functions with similar objectives to align resources and direction to support project execution. You act as policy subject-matter specialist for policy development and implementation across multiple subject areas to define long-term vision setting and strategy for areas of expertise. Responsibilities include:
- Establish, manage, and implement global product policy and standards with a regional focus and comprehensive understanding of local culture and values, as well as community on product platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors across teams and functions to develop and implement product policies and standards for a wide variety of our products. Participate in investigations and respond to inquiries from external parties, reviewing, processing, and responding to requests and/or real-world investigations on our users.
- Manage and resolve cross-product, high-impact policy escalations independently.
- Identify, prioritize, and craft responses to policy issues that may, today or in the future, affect us, and understand the impact they may have on business and users.
- Work cross-functionally to develop and launch products, features and/or processes that promote user trust and uphold our policies.Minimum role qualification requires proficiency in:
