Craft policies to ensure that Singapore is at the forefront of anti-scam and other defensive network measures spanning across all infocomm/internet channels;
Work closely with other government agencies and Industry to ensure the effective implementation of mitigation measures against scam calls and messages;
Assist to implement strategy to engage telco regulators and facilitate international cooperation to address the issue of scams at source;
Perform horizon scanning of anti-scam development and other network defence measures and analyse the impact of these developments on IMDA's regulatory and market policy;
Play an advisory role to other business units within IMDA regarding existing policy positions and new areas of policy work in the telecom and media space for scams;
Organise and provide secretariate support for workgroups and forums.
Job Requirement
Background in Computer Science, Social Sciences, Mass Communications or Legal Studies.
At least 2 years of experience in an operations policy or technology policy related role in the private or public sectors. Job grade commensurate based on level of relevant work experience.
Strong interest in preventing scams and good knowledge of how telco operator and internet service providers operate.
Strong analytical, inter-personal and writing skills.
Experience in Public Policy, Horizon Scanning, Strategic Futures work would be advantageous.
