Senior PMO / Program Governance Lead

Role Summary

Seeking a delivery-focused Senior PMO with 10+ years of experience driving large-scale transformation programs. The role requires strong ownership of program delivery, governance, executive stakeholder management, reporting, financial oversight, and risk management, preferably within Banking/Financial Services.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end program delivery from planning to closure.
  • Lead governance forums, Steering Committees, and executive reviews.
  • Manage RAID, dependencies, milestones, budgets, forecasts, and resources.
  • Develop executive dashboards, governance packs, and board-level presentations.
  • Provide data-driven insights to senior stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Drive change management, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement.

Must-Have Skills

  • 10+ years in PMO, Program Management, or Portfolio Governance.
  • Strong governance leadership and delivery ownership.
  • Executive stakeholder management and executive reporting.
  • Risk, Issue, Dependency, and Change Management.
  • Advanced Excel: XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, Dashboards, Automation.
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills.
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and influencing skills.

Preferred

  • Banking / Financial Services experience.
  • Large-scale transformation programs.
  • Power BI/Tableau, Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum certifications.

Ideal Candidate: A senior PMO leader who can confidently engage executives, lead governance, build advanced reporting solutions, and drive successful transformation delivery with strong ownership and accountability.
