Job Description:
Oversees the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and plumbing systems, ensuring that work is completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with safety standards and building codes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of electricians and plumbers, ensuring adherence to technical drawings, method statements, and project timelines.
- Handling maintenance, repair, and inspection of electrical, piping, and mechanical systems.
- Enforcing safety regulations, such as Work at Height (WAH) or Permit to Work (PTW).
- Liaising with contractors, consultants, and management for project completion.
- Conduct inspections on electrical installations (cable tray, panels) and plumbing works (piping, fixtures) to ensure quality standards.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of electrical systems (LV/MV), instrumentation, and plumbing/sanitary systems.
- Proven experience as a supervisor or team lead, often requiring 5+ years in a related technical role.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and P&IDs, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
