Play Therapist / Senior (Counselling Centre)
Job Profile:
The Senior Play Therapist will work closely with children, parents, families, and other professionals to assess and treat emotional, behavioral, and developmental issues in children using play therapy and other therapeutic approaches. This role includes providing direct therapy, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and offering guidance and supervision to junior therapists. Additionally, the Senior Play Therapist will mentor and supervise the team of play therapists, contribute to program development, and lead community outreach initiatives.

Key Requirements:
- Master's degree in Counselling, or a related field.
- Certification in Play Therapy (e.g., Registered Play Therapist or equivalent) is required.
- Additional training or certification in psychotherapy, child development, or family therapy is highly desirable.
- Registration with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC), Association for Play Therapy (APTS), or equivalent body is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years for Specialist experience and clinical experience in play therapy and about 5-7 years for Senior role with supervisory experience, with a demonstrated track record of working with children, adolescents, and families.
- Experience in psychotherapeutic interventions for children with emotional and behavioural challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief.
- Experience in developing individualized treatment plans.
- Proven ability to supervise and mentor junior therapists in a clinical setting as a Senior Therapist
