Platform Support Engineer(OpenShift and Kubernetes)

Key Responsibilities:

. Design, engineer, and automate the lifecycle of OpenShift clusters, treating infrastructure as software.

. Develop robust automation for cluster provisioning, upgrades, and scaling using Ansible, Terraform, or Python.

. Implement and maintain OpenShift components such as OVN-Kubernetes networking and OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) storage.

. Engineer reliability and performance optimizations to ensure high availability of the container platform.

. Implement GitOps workflows for cluster configuration management.

Requirements:

. Experience: Intermediate: 3+ years

. Strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes internals.

. Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash or Python.

. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.

. Knowledge of storage (Ceph/ODF) and networking (SDN, OVN) in a containerized environment.

. Experience with building platform products and common tools, AWS

. Familiarity with GitOps principles and tools.

. Familiarity with Government GCC
