Platform Integration Engineer

As a Platform Integration Engineer, you will be part of the AI Center of Excellence (AI COE), responsible for building and operating the integration layer of an enterprise-grade AI and data platform. You will enable reliable communication between platform services, AI components, and consuming systems through event-driven, API-based, and MCP-based integrations, with success measured by platform reliability, usability, and long-term value.

What will you do

Platform Integration & Development

• Design and implement platform-level integration services
• Build and operate event-driven pipelines using Kafka
• Implement API-based and protocol-based integrations

MCP & Protocol Enablement

• Develop and maintain MCP Server, MCP Gateway, and MCP protocol interactions

Reliability, Security & Observability

• Ensure integration services are scalable, observable, and secure

Collaboration & Platform Standards

• Collaborate with platform, AI, and DevSecOps engineers
• Contribute to reusable integration patterns and standards
  
  

The ideal candidate should possess:

• 35 years of experience in integration or platform engineering roles
• Experience building production-grade integration services
• Familiarity with shared platform environments
• Strong experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures
• Hands-on experience with MCP Server, MCP Gateway, and MCP protocols
• Strong understanding of API design and asynchronous communication patterns
• Experience with schema management and versioning
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Observability fundamentals using OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and Prometheus
• Understanding of secure integration and gateway patterns

• Good understanding of authentication and authorization protocols with practical implementation experience
