Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

This role focuses on building, operating, and improving large-scale, distributed, fault tolerant systems, with a strong emphasis on automation, reliability, and availability. You will develop software and infrastructure solutions that eliminate manual work and accelerate service delivery.

. Design, build, and operate highly reliable, scalable, and performant systems.

. Develop user-facing web applications using TypeScript/Angular and Python/Django.

. Design and deliver automation solutions in partnership with Service Delivery stakeholders.

. Build APIs, dashboards, and data visualizations using modern frameworks.

. Identify automation failures, troubleshoot root causes, and reduce operational fallout.

. Develop software-oriented automation for infrastructure, systems, or networks.

. Continuously optimize code, workflows, and self-service automation capabilities.

Requirements:
Education:
. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

Essential:

. 4+ years of full-stack web development using:

. Frontend: Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3

. Backend: Python, Django/Django REST Framework

. Experience designing and implementing automation for systems or infrastructure.

. Strong hands-on experience with REST APIs and relational databases (OracleDB, PostgreSQL).

. Proficiency with version control and DevOps tools (Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Artifactory).

. Strong debugging skills and a systematic approach to problem-solving.

. Ability to understand existing business workflows and translate them into automated solutions.

. Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset for driving automation initiatives.
