Platform AI Security Architect

As a Platform AI Security Architect, you will be part of the AI Center of Excellence (AI COE), a centralized platform team responsible for building, operating, and evolving enterprise-grade AI and data platforms consumed by multiple internal engineering project teams.

The AI COE operates as a platform product organization, not a project delivery or system integration team. It owns shared capabilities end-to-end, including integration services, AI enablement, developer tooling, observability, and governance. Success is measured by platform adoption, usability, reliability, and long-term value, rather than one-off delivery milestones.

What will you do

• Define and govern AI security architecture: Establish and maintain the AI platform security architecture aligned with enterprise and telco standards, reviewing and approving security designs for platform components and high-risk AI use cases.

• Embed security-by-design across AI lifecycles: Apply Zero Trust and secure-by-design principles across infrastructure, integration, data, application, and AI layers, leading threat modelling and AI-specific risk assessments.

• Ensure compliance and continuous risk remediation: Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Group Security to balance compliance and innovation, and guide remediation of findings from audits, penetration tests, and security assessments

The ideal candidate should possess:

• 8-12+ years of experience in security architecture, enterprise security, or platform security
• Experience working across Agile and Waterfall delivery environments
• Ability to manage multiple complex security engagements in parallel
• Relevant security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CCSP, cloud security certifications) are a plus
• Strong expertise in security architecture, including:
  • Zero Trust architecture
  • Micro-segmentation
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• Strong Experience in AI and GenAI security, safety and threat protection
  • Responsible AI
  • Prompt Injection and other GenAI threats
  • Guardrails and GenAI redteaming
• Experience in cloud and platform security (AWS, Azure, GCP, containers, Kubernetes)
• Hands-on experience with threat modelling and security-by-design practices
• Knowledge of industry frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF, CIS benchmarks, ISO/IEC 27001
• Familiarity with security tooling (IAM, WAF, SIEM, vulnerability scanning, SAST/DAST)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
