We are looking for a Day 2 Platform Administrator (Talend ETL) to manage post-go-live operations of enterprise data integration platforms.
This role focuses on ensuring Talend environments remain stable, secure, and compliant across multiple projects, including regulated and air-gapped on-premises setups. You will support platform operations, job execution, user access, and system performance in a consulting delivery environment.
Provide Day 2 operational support for Talend platforms, including Talend Administration Center (TAC), Job Servers, and Log Servers
Monitor platform health, job execution, and overall system performance across Talend environments
Perform routine maintenance, system checks, and troubleshooting across Talend and supporting infrastructure
Support platform upgrades, patches, and hotfixes following change management processes
Manage user onboarding and offboarding, including user accounts, roles, permissions, and project-level access
Configure project folders, job access, and platform-level permissions
Ensure monitoring and logging configurations are properly set up and maintained
Maintain accurate access and entitlement records across users and service accounts
Handle service requests such as access changes, job scheduling updates, and connection configuration
Support change requests including platform configuration updates, job performance tuning, and system enhancements
Participate in impact assessments, implementation planning, and post-change validation
Ensure all changes follow ITSM processes and governance standards
Perform platform housekeeping including log management, storage monitoring, and license usage checks
Monitor scheduled job execution and troubleshoot failures, delays, and dependency issues
Support backup and restore procedures and contribute to disaster recovery readiness
Maintain platform documentation, runbooks, and support audit and compliance activities
Operate in secure, air-gapped environments with strict controls and governance
Enforce security policies across Talend platforms and connected data sources
Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and security teams to resolve issues
Ensure compliance with regulatory and data governance requirements
Work with project managers, data engineers, and client stakeholders across multiple projects
Escalate risks, incidents, and operational issues in a timely manner
Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes and standards
Minimum 2 years of experience in platform administration, production support, or operations for Talend or similar ETL/data integration platforms
Strong hands-on experience with Talend Administration Center (TAC), job scheduling, and execution monitoring
Experience troubleshooting job failures, dependencies, and performance issues
Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk
Working knowledge of Linux/Unix or Windows Server environments
Basic scripting knowledge (Bash or PowerShell)
Understanding of connectivity protocols such as SFTP, SMTP, JDBC, and ODBC
Familiarity with ITSM processes (incident, service request, change management)
Experience working in on-premises or air-gapped environments
Ability to follow SOPs, runbooks, and operational procedures
Strong troubleshooting skills across ETL processes, job execution, and data connectivity
Experience in regulated environments such as financial services, public sector, or healthcare
Exposure to high-security or air-gapped systems
Familiarity with Talend APIs or command-line tools for automation
Experience with enterprise schedulers such as Control-M or Autosys
Knowledge of data governance, data lineage, and metadata management
Experience with multiple ETL platforms such as Informatica PowerCenter
Familiarity with shell scripting for automation and operational efficiency
