Responsibilities:
- Manage day to day operations of the site to ensure quality services and outputs
- Undertake site operations and integrate processes horizontally over multiple shifts with proactive stance in service delivery solutioning
- Drive all-aspect service excellence by means of elevating the organisational behaviour, culture and thinking in service design, planning, execution and follow-up on operational matters
- Function as part of the Management Team in a dynamic fashion in driving progress and success for the organisation
- Contribute to the development of annual and longer-term business plans, forecast performance against business key performance indicators, develop business case for new projects and estimate financial and resources required to deliver performance targets
- Lead Operations manpower deployment, resource planning and shift scheduling
- Manage the Operations annual budget plan and quarterly latest estimates reporting, and drive cost-consciousness results in all matters of operations
- Employ innovative and critical-thinking in optimizing processes, procedures and implement initiatives that create value in creating enhanced effectiveness and efficiency in the organization
- Train on people development and training recommendations to ensure Operations personnel's skills and core competencies
- Ensure operations employees are trained and qualified as competent to perform the assigned tasks
- Act as the Process Owner of all Safe Work Procedure (SWP) and Safe Work Instruction (SWI)
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering
- At least 10 years of operations experience with 5 years of leadership experience.
- Chemical / Petrochemical site experience
