Plant Operations Technician

About Company:

Our client commenced operations in year 2002. Specializes in the production of modified Polyphenylene Ether. They are recognized for its high standards in product quality and performance.

Job Description:

- Handle daily operational tasks and participate in plant troubleshooting

- Perform field logging, routine sampling and plant testing work

- Prepare process equipment for mechanical work according to SOP procedures

- Carry out loading/unloading and raw material charging activities

- Operates utility and process plant

Job Requirements:

- N level, NTC 2/Diploma holder in Chemical Process Technology

- 2 to 3 years experience in chemical industry No experience are welcome to apply

- 2nd Grade Steam Engineer or Diploma holders with a Boiler Attendance Certificate will have an added advantage

- Experience in forklift, firefighting, confine space or work at heights certificate will have an added advantage

- Able to perform field and panel works

- High awareness of job safety and housekeeping

Compensation:

- Working location: Jurong Island

- Working hours (12-hour Shift work): from 8am to 8pm and 8pm to 8am

- Working days (Including weekends): 7 working days within a 14-day cycle

- Fixed allowances: $370 (site and transport)

- Shift allowance: $650
