PLANT ENGINEER (Singaporean & PR)

Job Description:

• Monitor and manage departmental performance against agreed targets and budgets.
• Monitor and maintain plant equipment and machinery to ensure they run as intended.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Assist plant personnel in operational, safety and quality control procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Plan work to ensure timelines and drawings are accurate, and cost estimates align with the budget.
• Ensure facility regulatory compliance and carry out regular inspections to verify machinery and process safety.
• Work with heavy machinery to achieve peak output efficiency and maximum safety. Strong mechanical skills are essential.
• Spot problems early and identify process improvements that benefit the organization and team safety. Applicants must be detail-oriented.
• Resolve issues quickly using sound problem-solving and troubleshooting methods.
• Production planning and monitor inventory levels to meet operational needs.
• Prepare and manage work schedules for plant personnel.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical or related Engineering field.
• Minimum 2-5 years experience in plant operations or engineering maintenancel manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of plant utilities, equipment, and engineering systems.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams when required.
