Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee project programmes, ensuring compliance with contract requirements through Baseline, Working, and Recovery Programmes.
• Conduct regular progress updates and review comprehensive management reports generated by the planning team.
• Establish and enforce documentation standards for project plans, schedules, and progress reports.
• Perform complex schedule analyses and translate data into strategic insights for senior management.
• Maintain a Change matrix to evaluate variations, claims, and significant project events.
• Monitor progress using measurement tools like histograms, S-curves, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Guide project teams on critical path analyses and schedule optimization strategies.
• Provide performance monitoring through regular reporting and high-level schedule risk analyses to identify systemic bottlenecks.
• Drive continuous improvement by maintaining a lessons learned registry for future projects and bids.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in Civil/Building projects in a managerial or leadership capacity.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 is essential.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify macro-level trends and make strategic decisions.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills for effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven leadership abilities to manage and coordinate cross-functional teams towards achieving project objectives.
• Strong understanding of construction industry standards, methodologies, EOT protocols, and complex sequencing.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and reliability in scheduling data and reports.
