Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Planning Manager to lead project scheduling and execution oversight. The role focuses on transforming design plans into safe, high-quality, on-time construction delivery while optimizing resources, managing risks, and coordinating across teams. The Planning Manager is a key contributor to project success, providing actionable insights and ensuring seamless execution on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, monitor, and optimize project schedules.
  • Break down schedules into detailed monthly, weekly, and daily execution plans.
  • Track progress, analyze deviations, and provide corrective actions.
  • Coordinate resources (labor, equipment, materials) and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Collaborate with design, procurement, construction, and subcontractor teams to ensure schedule alignment.
  • Supervise site execution, ensure safety and quality compliance, and resolve technical challenges.
  • Apply schedule compression techniques (Crashing, Fast-Tracking) when needed.
  • Maintain project documentation and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Registered certificate preferred.
  • Min 5 years experience in geotechnical, ground improvement or reclamation project scheduling and control.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and analysis.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and lead site teams effectively.
