  • Develop, manage, and maintain master construction schedules, micro schedules, and procurement schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project milestones and contract requirements.

  • Direct the preparation and review of shop drawings, method statements, and construction sequences in coordination with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors.

  • Monitor project progress, identify critical paths, and proactively highlight potential delays to management, recommending corrective actions to ensure timely project delivery, taking into account marine constraints such as tides, weather windows, and vessel logistics.

  • Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, Marine Warranty Surveyors (MWS), and authorities such as MPA (Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore) and BCA to ensure planning compliance and approval.

  • Supervise and mentor a team of planners and planning engineers, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, histograms, S-curves, and other tracking documents.

  • Facilitate planning meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders to align on project timelines, work fronts, and interface management.

  • Support the Project Manager in contract administration, variation order evaluations, and extension of time (EOT) claims through robust planning analysis and documentation.

  • Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, software tools, and reporting standards across the project team.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.

  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant planning experience in civil infrastructure projects, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

  • Proven experience in port, marine, or coastal projects (e.g., wharves, jetties, reclamation, piling, caisson works) is highly preferred.

  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and strong knowledge of construction sequencing, critical path method (CPM), and resource planning.

  • Experience working on projects under LTA, MRT, Buildings, or C&S contracts is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with local authority requirements (MPA, BCA, PUB) and marine warranty/insurance processes.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
