Location: Central
Employment Type: 1-Year Contract (Renewable / Permanent)
Salary: Up to SGD 3,500 basic + 1-month bonus
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm
The Executive / Senior Executive (Planner - Scheduling) is responsible for programme planning, timetable scheduling, and resource coordination to ensure the smooth delivery of academic programmes. The role involves close collaboration with Academic Directors, Programme Management, Examination teams, and external vendors to optimise teaching resources and maintain accurate academic schedules.
Programme Planning & Scheduling
Prepare overall programme schedules based on programme and academic information.
Plan, manage, and release timetables using the Syllabus Plus scheduling system within stipulated timelines.
Work with Academic Directors to assign teaching loads to full-time and associate lecturers.
Liaise with vendors on outsourced services, including:
Lecturer placement / Contract issuance / Payroll processing / etc
Manage and maintain the pool of Associate Lecturers.
Conduct daily checks on assigned classes to ensure sessions commence as scheduled.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders on scheduling matters, including student pathways and teaching workloads.
Provide timely and accurate schedule updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Plan and manage resources (e.g. classrooms, lecturers) using Syllabus Plus to support effective programme delivery.
Input, maintain, and update data in the Student Management System and other relevant platforms.
Ensure all assigned teaching staff and modules are properly registered with CPE.
Liaise with the Programme Management team on student pathways, tutorial groupings, and assessment planning.
Work closely with the Examination team to plan examination schedules for assigned programmes.
Coordinate with the Examination Centre on main and re-examinations.
Support data provision for budgeting exercises.
Assist with orientation programmes for newly appointed Associate Lecturers.
Support institutional events and orientations (approximately 2-4 times per year).
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the company.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
3 years of working experience, with 2 years in planning or scheduling roles .
Skills & Competencies
Good understanding of higher education qualifications in Singapore and internationally.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with scheduling or resource optimisation tools (e.g. Syllabus Plus) is an advantage.
