PKI Infrastructure Engineer

Role: PKI Engineer (Public Key Infrastructure)

Contract: 12 months and renewable on Persol pay roll

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced PKI Engineer (Public Key Infrastructure Specialist) to manage and support the organization's Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) environment, including certificate lifecycle management, PKI administration, automation, and security compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage PKI infrastructure, Certificate Authorities (CA), and certificate management platforms.
• Administer certificate issuance, renewal, revocation, and expiry monitoring.
• Deploy and support SSL/TLS certificates across applications, servers, databases, and network devices.
• Manage cryptographic keys and HSMs.
• Develop automation scripts for certificate provisioning and renewal.
• Troubleshoot certificate, authentication, and encryption-related issues.
• Support PKI integrations with enterprise applications and security platforms.

Skills/Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in PKI administration and certificate lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of PKI, X.509 Certificates, CA, TLS/SSL, CRL, and OCSP.
• Experience with PKI platforms such as Microsoft ADCS, DigiCert, Entrust, Keyfactor, Venafi, AppViewX, or similar.
• Familiarity with cryptographic technologies, Windows/Linux environments, and scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Shell).
• Understanding of HSMs, security controls, and compliance requirements.
• Experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure security, or regulated industries.
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Security+.
