About the Job
This role involves delivering physiotherapy services in a community-based or day rehabilitation setting, supporting client recovery, and contributing to service quality, clinical development, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
. Provide professional physiotherapy assessments, treatment planning, interventions, and progress reviews for assigned clients.
. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care, including participating in case discussions and supporting caregiver education.
. Supervise and guide therapy assistants, interns, and other personnel involved in therapy services.
. Ensure compliance with clinical quality standards, audit requirements, workplace safety procedures, and proper documentation of outcomes.
. Oversee day rehabilitation centre operations such as client scheduling, staff allocation, equipment management, and facility upkeep.
. Participate in quality improvement projects, research initiatives, and development of new rehabilitation programmes.
. Support community engagement efforts, including outreach activities, educational sessions, and training events.
. Contribute to staff competency development through coaching, training, and adherence to professional practice standards.
Requirements
. Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy.
. Full registration with AHPC.
. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
. Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
