Job Description
Physiotherapist
We are partnering with an established care organisation in Singapore to identify a Physiotherapist to support rehabilitation services for seniors.
This role is suited for a physiotherapist who enjoys working in a person-centred care environment and is keen to contribute to both direct therapy work and the ongoing development of rehabilitation practices, workflows and service quality.
The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to assess care needs, deliver physiotherapy interventions, support functional mobility and contribute to safe, holistic care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess seniors physical function, mobility and rehabilitation needs, and develop appropriate physiotherapy care plans.
- Deliver physiotherapy treatments, therapeutic exercises and interventions to support mobility, pain management and functional outcomes.
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans according to clinical needs and care team input.
- Work closely with nursing, medical, therapy and care staff to support coordinated and holistic care.
- Guide Therapy Assistants in the safe and appropriate delivery of therapy-related activities.
- Support rehabilitation workflows, clinical protocols, documentation standards and service quality initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of assessments, interventions and progress.
- Conduct or support training for care staff and healthcare professionals where required.
- Participate in quality improvement and service development initiatives.
- Undertake other appropriate duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy.
- Registered with Singapore's Allied Health Professions Council.
- At least 3 years of relevant physiotherapy experience, preferably in healthcare, community care, eldercare, rehabilitation or long-term care settings.
- Good clinical reasoning and ability to translate assessments into practical rehabilitation plans.
- Comfortable supporting seniors with varying levels of mobility, frailty and care needs.
- Good communication, interpersonal and documentation skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Adaptable and comfortable working in an evolving care environment.
