Phlebotomist

Job Description : You will perform blood-taking procedures (venepuncture) on inpatients in Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) and in the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID) to collect blood specimens (including blood culture collection) for laboratory investigations.

You will also support sectional initiatives to review and improve work processes to achieve organisational goals. You will also be expected to support the Section Leader in other operational and administrative matters. Part-time positions will be considered too.

Requirements

• Have a keen interest in blood-taking (venepuncture)
• Able to work independently and can be a team player
• Possess good communication skills
• Able to work rotating-shifts (day or afternoon shift, ard 10.30pm) which includes weekends and public holidays
• No experience needed as training will be provided
