My client is a Singapore-based philanthropic foundation dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities and safeguarding critical coastal ecosystems. The foundation supports on-the-ground organizations through financial grants, capacity-building initiatives, and technical assistance to enhance operational effectiveness and drive lasting social and environmental impact.
Role Overview
The Operations Manager will oversee the foundation's day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, accountability, and alignment with the organization's mission. This role involves managing internal processes, reviewing partner proposals, ensuring compliance, supporting financial analysis, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and partners.
Key Responsibilities
Operational and Administrative Management
Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
Maintain up-to-date and compliant legal documents, MOUs, and agreements.
Coordinate across internal teams, projects, and external partners.
Partnership and Proposal Review
Support the evaluation of potential partners, including reviewing budgets, deliverables, and strategic alignment with foundation goals.
Conduct due diligence and background checks on vendors, grantees, and partners.
Provide recommendations on partnership opportunities to senior management.
Stakeholder Engagement and Representation
Represent the foundation in meetings, events, and partner engagements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, partners, vendors, and community stakeholders.
Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
Coordination and Relationship Management
Ensure alignment of operational processes with strategic objectives.
Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and reporting requirements across multiple stakeholders.
Maintain transparent and collaborative relationships with existing partners.
Ad-Hoc Responsibilities
Perform additional duties as required to support the foundation's mission and operations.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Non-Profit Management, or related field.
Minimum 5 years experience in operations, administration, or program management, preferably in foundations, NGOs, or non-profit organizations.
Strong passion for advancing philanthropic and social initiatives.
Experience reviewing proposals, budgets, and contracts.
Excellent organizational, coordination, and multitasking skills.
Proven stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
Strong communication and presentation skills confident representing the organization externally.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
