Pharmacy Technician

Brief Summary:

• Lead pharmacy technician operations by coordinating staffing coverage, supporting inventory control, and maintaining accurate medication distribution processes. Supervise and develop pharmacy support staff while contributing to procurement activities, patient service, and operational projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and train pharmacy technicians and assistants in established work processes. Support pharmacists with medication ordering, processing, replenishment, and inventory management. Coordinate roster planning to maintain adequate staffing coverage across assigned pharmacy operations. Dispense medications and provide patient counselling in accordance with Good Dispensing Guidelines. Maintain accurate and stringent medication distribution and inventory control systems. Deliver professional service to patients and staff. Assist pharmacists with clerical duties, administrative functions, and related operational projects.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE N Level with a Certificate in Pharmacy Technician from the Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore, or a Diploma in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science. At least one year of experience in an acute hospital setting. Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Resourceful, dependable, and capable of working independently. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and night shifts.
