About us
Since the 1930s, the way we commute, socialize and even how we make payments have changed, and yet our fundamental approach to the healthcare system hasn't.
At Ordinary Folk, we're reimagining the building blocks of healthcare, through Noah and Zoey. Noah allows men to receive remote diagnosis and treatment across varying areas of care. Through Zoey, women's sexual wellness and fertility journeys are supported with thoughtful products and services.
We are now building an in-house pharmaceutical compounding facility in Singapore - and we're looking for a pharmacist who wants to be at the centre of it.
The Opportunity
This isn't a typical retail or hospital pharmacy role. You'll be part of a new compounding operation, with the chance to:
Build a compounding facility from the ground up - from equipment selection and SOP development to formulation, validation, and production
Serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for our HSA Retail Pharmacy Licence
Lead formulation development for novel combination products
Own quality assurance - establish QC processes, stability testing, and batch documentation from Day 1
If you've ever wanted to shape a pharmacy operation rather than inherit one, this is it.
Key Responsibilities
Compounding Operations
Establish and manage non-sterile compounding operations
Develop and document Master Formula Records (MFRs) and Batch Production Records (BPRs) for each product
Perform compounding activities: weighing, mixing, encapsulation, tableting, packaging
Conduct in-process quality checks (weight variation, hardness, friability, disintegration, visual inspection)
Establish Beyond-Use Dating (BUD) through stability testing per USP 795 guidelines
Maintain compounding area to pharmaceutical standards (cleanliness, environmental monitoring, equipment calibration)
Regulatory & Compliance
Serve as the named Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) on the HSA Retail Pharmacy Licence
Ensure compliance with HSA, MOH, and Poisons Act requirements
Maintain all required documentation: batch records, dispensing logs, controlled substance registers, temperature logs
Support regulatory submissions (PRISM, HCSA amendments) and HSA audits/inspections
Develop and maintain SOPs for all clinic and compounding operations
Quality Assurance
Establish and run QC testing protocols for raw materials and finished products
Review and approve Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) from API and excipient suppliers
Manage supplier qualification and ongoing quality monitoring
Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) as needed

Oversee medication dispensing for our existing telehealth clinic operations
Screen prescriptions for drug interactions, contraindications, and dosing errors
Handle complex patient medication enquiries

Optimise stock levels and minimise wastage
Strategic & Medical Management

Research and implement regulatory changes for clinic compliance and product launches
Collaborate with Clinical Governance Officer to develop and update standard operating procedures

University degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or equivalent) from SPC-recognised institution
Registered Pharmacist with valid practising certificate from the Singapore Pharmacy Council
Minimum 3 years of relevant pharmacy experience

Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical formulation, excipient functionality, and dosage form design
Familiarity with USP General Chapters (particularly USP 795 for non-sterile compounding)
Experience with GMP/GDP documentation and quality systems
Highly Desirable
Experience as or eligibility to serve as a Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) under HSA
Experience with solid oral dosage forms - capsules, tablets, or chewables
Familiarity with HSA regulatory requirements for retail pharmacy and/or compounding
Experience with equipment such as tablet presses, capsule filling machines, analytical balances, hardness testers
