Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for dogs and other pets: feeding, walking, playtime, and monitoring well-being
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment (cleaning pets rooms, playpens, and feeding areas)
- Administer basic grooming (brushing, ear cleaning, shower and blow dry) and medication (as instructed)
- Assist with client communication: check-ins, updates, and addressing concerns
- Assist with social media updates: eg. posting on Instagram stories, creating Tiktok videos etc
- Monitor and record pet behavior, health, and routines
- Support daily operations such as inventory checks and supplies restocking
- Uphold all hygiene and safety protocols
Requirements
- A genuine passion and deep affection for animals, especially dogs
- No prior experience in the pet industry is required-however,
..Candidates must have at least 1 year of personal experience in handling or caring for dogs.
- Comfortable working with dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Physically fit and able to manage cleaning duties and active pets
- Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and on a rotating schedule if required
- Responsible, observant, and patient with strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Earliest start date will be in end Oct 2025
Bonus Points
- Certification in pet first aid or animal care
- Background in vet tech, grooming, or pet services
- Passionate about improving pet wellbeing and client satisfaction
