Job Responsibilities

• Full Grooming Services: Perform high-quality grooming tasks including bathing, drying, nail clipping, ear cleaning, and specialized feline haircuts (e.g., Lion Cut, Teddy Bear Cut).

• Health Checks: Conduct basic skin and coat assessments to identify any lumps, parasites, or skin conditions, and communicate findings to owners.

• Safety & Handling: Use low-stress handling techniques to ensure the safety and comfort of cats, especially those that are nervous or senior.

• Customer Service: Consult with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide professional advice on home maintenance and coat care.

• Sanitization: Maintain a clean and organized workstation ensure all grooming tools and cages are sterilized according to NekoTown's hygiene standards.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 1-2 years of professional pet grooming experience. (Specialized experience with cats is a significant advantage).

• Certification: Professional grooming certification (SKC, DGA, or equivalent) is preferred but not mandatory if you have a strong portfolio.

• Patience & Passion: A genuine love for cats and the ability to remain calm and patient with difficult or aggressive pets.

• Communication: Good command of English to interact with our diverse clientele.

• Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and handle pets of various sizes (including larger breeds like Maine Coons).
