Job Summary
Join Pet Lovers Centre as a Pet Groomer to deliver professional grooming services, manage grooming centre operations, and ensure pets wellbeing in a clean, safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily grooming centre operations to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
- Schedule grooming appointments efficiently to optimize centre capacity and reduce wait times
- Maintain grooming equipment in excellent working condition to ensure safety and service quality
- Provide professional grooming services tailored to the specific needs of dogs, cats, and rabbits
- Ensure the grooming environment is clean, safe, and hygienic to protect pets and staff
- Monitor pets wellbeing throughout grooming and take appropriate actions to safeguard their health
- Identify and communicate any health concerns observed during grooming to pet owners clearly to prevent misunderstandings
Required competencies and certifications
- Demonstrate 2-3 years of grooming experience with dogs, cats, or rabbits, including cutting and shaving fur
- Hold SKC/DGA Class C or equivalent grooming certification
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Show passion for pets and deliver exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction
