About the Role
Everpet is a Pet Funeral Specialist Company located in Singapore, reimagining what it means to say goodbye to our beloved pets. We believe pet funerals should be beautiful, dignified, and healing, just like the love our pets gave us.
As an Operations Specialist at Everpet, this role is hands-on, physical, and operations-driven. You will play a vital part of the workflow, the person who ensures every step behind the scenes is executed safely, accurately, and professionally. Your core responsibility is to handle the operational processes, working primarily with equipment, logistics, preparation, and movement of pets with respect, discretion, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Pet Transfers & Collection:
- Handle the pickup and safe transportation of pets from homes, clinics, or hospitals with professionalism and empathy.
- Ensure proper documentation, tagging, and chain-of-custody for every case.
Water Cremation & Post-cremation Processing:
- Operate the water cremation equipment following SOPs to ensure safety, quality, and dignity in every process.
- Handle remains respectfully, drying of bones, preparing ashes and bone fragments for final placement
Pet Preparation
- Grooming and cleaning of the pet
Farewell Room Preparation:
- Set up the farewell room according to care specialist and family requests, including flowers, urns, lighting, and ceremonial arrangements.
- Assist in facilitating private family farewells or rituals.
Aftercare & Ash Return:
- Prepare ashes, keepsakes, and certificates for collection or delivery.
- Conduct handovers and delivery with sensitivity and professionalism.
Facility Upkeep:
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of work areas, equipment, and vehicles.
- Conduct basic maintenance and ensure equipment readiness.
- Conduct regular deep cleaning for crematorium equipment such as the water cremation machine
Team Collaboration:
- Work in a team to support services, ceremonies, and daily operations.
- Assist the care specialist to handle funeral arrangements
- Uphold Everpet's standards of empathy, detail, and excellence in every interaction.
Others
- Ensuring proper records and documentation for each case handled
- Assisting with operations admin such as printing tribute photos preparing pet food offerings
- Any other adhoc tasks as required
Salary Package: Basic salary from $2500 - $2800 + Overtime pay
Requirements
- Possesses a valid Class 3/3A driving licence (required)
- Physically fit and comfortable handling pets of all sizes.
- Responsible, punctual, and meticulous in following procedures
- Compassionate and emotionally grounded when dealing with grieving families.
- Prior experience in logistics, animal handling, or funeral operations is advantageous.
- Willingness to work on a rotation basis, including weekends and public holidays.
- Be able to be put on night standby for midnight pet pickups
- You love animals deeply and understand the bond between pets and humans
