Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy and Management
. Formulate and implement strategies to grow the Bank's personal deposit portfolio (savings, current, and Time deposits) in line with business objectives.
. Continuously enhance deposit products to improve competitiveness and customer satisfaction.
. Conduct market research to track industry trends, benchmark competitors, and identify opportunities for innovation.
. Propose and manage product enhancements, rate structures, and campaigns to support customer acquisition and retention.
2. Portfolio and Performance Management
. Monitor the performance of the personal deposit portfolio, including balance growth, profitability, and cost of funds.
. Analyze customer behavior, deposit structure, and pricing effectiveness to support business decisions.
3. Pricing and Cost Optimization
. Manage deposit pricing in line with market conditions, interest rate movements, and internal funding strategy.
. Prepare pricing proposals and rate adjustment recommendations for management approval.
. Ensure balance between competitive rates, customer needs, and the bank's profitability goals.
4. Marketing, Promotion, and Channel Coordination
. Collaborate with the Marketing team to plan and execute deposit campaigns and promotions.
. Work closely with branch, digital banking, and relationship managers to drive deposit growth and cross-sell opportunities.
5. Compliance, Risk, and Operations
. Ensure all deposit products and marketing materials comply with MAS regulations, AML/CFT requirements, and internal policies.
. Coordinate with Operations, IT, and Compliance teams to streamline deposit account opening and servicing processes.
. Maintain accurate and updated product documentation, policies, and procedure manuals.
6. Reporting and Management Support
. Prepare regular reports and analysis on deposit performance,competitor analysis and market surveys, and post- campaign results.
. Support management with data insights and recommendations for decision-making.
. Assist in annual business planning, budgeting, and strategy formulation.

Requirement:

. Bachelor's degree with at least 1 years of relevant working experience.
. Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills and effectively billigual in english and chinese so as to verify with the policy written in Chinese and communicate with Chinese speaking customers for enquiry.
. Strong analytical skills with an investigative mindset.
. Broad and in-depth knowledge in banking products, services and data.
. Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism and teamwork awareness.
. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
. A proactive approach to tasks & responsibilities.
