What The Role Is
You will join the Finance and Corporate Services Directorate within the People & Organisation Group, which oversees AGD's corporate functions including finance, procurement and corporate services. As a Personal Assistant, you will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to senior leadership. As their primary administrative liaison, you will ensure smooth operations across multiple directorates.
Your Responsibilities Include
What you will be working on
Administrative & Operational Support
- Manage Principals calendars and optimise daily schedules and support Principals on administrative matters relating to their meetings and work activities and events
- Process financial transactions including banking of cash and cheques
Registry and Document Management
- Handle registry duties and manage classified and confidential files
- Utilise digital tools and emerging technologies to enhance records management efficiency
Security and Access Management
- Coordinate collection and distribution of security cards and access credentials
- Liaise with relevant agencies on access provisioning and termination procedures
Requirements
What we are looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Personal Assistant or Secretary to Senior Management in public sector agencies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with excellent written and verbal English proficiency
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn new digital tools
- Experience with registry operations, classified document handling, and security protocols would be advantageous
- Positive attitude, proactive approach, and willingness to learn new skills
