Job Description

We are actively hiring for a client in a Community Hospital setting in Singapore and we wish to invite interested Pharmacy Assistant to apply the role.

Pharmacy Assistant - PackingServices

General Pharmacy Support

  • Aid in the preparation, labeling, and packing of medications, including supplies destined for nursing homes.
  • Carry out non-clinical tasks as directed by pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
  • Follow all infection control, safety, and operational policies to maintain a high standard of care.

Automation & PackingAssistance

  • Support the operation of the ATDPS (Automated Tablet Dispensing and Packaging System) by loading and unloading medications.
  • Perform deblistering and deboxing of medications to prepare them for the packing process.
  • Help with the basic upkeep of packing equipment and ensure work areas remain functional.
  • Promptly report any technical issues or workflow irregularities to senior staff.

Inventory & LogisticsManagement

  • Receive, unpack, and organize incoming pharmacy stock.
  • Maintain an orderly storage system based on First-In-First-Out (FIFO) principles.
  • Conduct regular stock rotations, monitor expiration dates, and assist with housekeeping in the storeroom.
  • Participate in periodic stocktakes and inventory counts to ensure data accuracy.

Administration &Maintenance

  • Ensure the pharmacy and packing environments are kept clean and highly organized.
  • Support the billing process and assist with filing, documentation, and general record-keeping.
  • Provide ad-hoc assistance for other operational tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum GCE O Level qualification.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and a high level of attention to detail.
  • A collaborative team player who can work well with others.
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or logistics is preferred, but not required as comprehensive on-the-job training is provided.
  • Proficiency in dialect is required to effectively communicate with and support primary patient demographic
