Periodic Review Officer (Private Bank, 1 Year Contract)

Responsibilities:

• Perform periodic reviews for existing client relationships and address new or incremental KYC/CDD risks, ensuring timely closure.
• Guide Relationship Managers on periodic review submissions, including KYC updates, account structure changes, and adverse news handling.
• Perform refresh due diligence searches (Google, World-Check, Factiva) and transaction reviews to ensure activities align with client risk profiles investigate suspicious transactions
• Identify and escalate potential AML risks, red flags, and unusual activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders, responding to inquiries, requests on control testing and audits in relation to PR matters in a timely and accurate manner.
• Support team members by assisting with other AML activities, such as transaction monitoring, during periods of high workload to help achieve team objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in private banking with exposure to AML/CFT areas (KYC, PR)
• Experience working with Front Office/Client Facing teams
• Strong documentation, research, and business-writing skills
• Strong understanding of MAS Notice 626 and practical application within private banking.
