Performing Arts Instructor (Choir / Band / Dance / Drama / Orchestra)

Job Description

We are looking for experienced and passionate Performing Arts Instructors to conduct and mentor students in school Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs). The instructor will plan and deliver engaging weekly sessions, prepare students for performances, and nurture their artistic abilities while instilling discipline, teamwork, and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular CCA practices in the specific art form (Choir, Band, Dance, Drama, or Orchestra).
• Train and prepare students for school concerts, showcases, and national-level events such as the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF).
• Develop a curriculum that builds technical skills, creativity, and performance excellence.
• Guide students on stage presence, discipline, and collaborative work.
• Work closely with the teacher-in-charge to manage attendance, event schedules, and student progress.

Requirements

• Professional training or proven expertise in the specific art form.
• Prior experience teaching, coaching, or mentoring youths is strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage students.
• Ability to plan, organize, and deliver structured training programmes.
• Availability to conduct weekly sessions during school term schedules.
