Perform on stage in front of a live audience, using body movement, spoken language, facial expression, and action to express emotion and present ideas. Collaborate with band members and the music director to deliver engaging performances.
Responsibilities
- Perform live on stage to entertain audiences using expressive body movement, spoken language, facial expressions, and actions
- Attend rehearsals and collaborate with band members to prepare and improve performances
- Work with the music director to refine and fine-tune each performance
- Arrange for musical instruments or props to be delivered and set up at gigs
- Interpret and apply feedback from directors to enhance performance quality
- Memorize lines or musical notes to ensure accurate delivery during performances
- Research different dance styles and techniques to expand performance skills
- Sing a wide repertoire of songs to entertain diverse audiences
- Adjust performance actions in response to audience reactions to increase engagement and attract more customers
- Communicate effectively with audiences, customers, and colleagues during performances and events
- Perform dance routines confidently and skillfully on stage
- Be available to work during weekends and public holidays as required
