Job Overview
We are seeking a Performance Test Engineer with 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in performance testing. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and executing various types of performance tests, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests in accordance with project requirements.
- Utilise performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, AppDynamics, and application performance monitoring (APM) platforms including Kibana.
- Analyse system metrics (CPU, memory, disk, network) to identify performance bottlenecks and propose recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate effectively with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Implement and maintain automated performance testing frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Prepare comprehensive performance test reports and present findings to relevant stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
Requirements
- 4 to 8 years of experience in performance testing or a related field.
- Proficiency in LoadRunner, JMeter, AppDynamics, and familiarity with APM tools such as Kibana.
- Strong understanding of HTTP protocols, APIs, and web technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
- Demonstrated self-motivation and a proactive approach to problem-solving and task completion.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team environment. Immediate availability to commence work is preferred.
