Job Description
As a member of the Performance Office, you will be driving Execution Excellence and support various aspects of the ongoing transformation at MANN+HUMMEL. Defining and continuously improving our methods, processes and tools as well as actively training, coaching and consulting the organization in applying those is one of your focus areas. You and the Performance Office as a team specifically support the agile strategy execution approach, its required cross-functional alignment and governance to deliver on defined strategic targets, working closely with senior leaders at MANN+HUMMEL.
Main Tasks
Be a Consultant and Coach to our internal Customers:
As a consultant, serve as an expert advisor who provides analysis, solutions, and actionable recommendations to
address specific challenges or targets by focusing on problem-solving
As a coach, you focus on unlocking potential, trigger behavioral change that shapes our mindset on individual
and/or team level.
- Support business internal customers in developing, planning, and executing initiatives:
Consultant: Provide subject-matter expertise
Consultant: Offer structured frameworks and methodologies for strategic initiatives
Consultant: Recommend actionable solutions, best practices and external benchmarks
Coach: Facilitate workshops and conversations to align teams on vision and execution
Coach: Help individuals and teams to trust and advance their skills and find their own solutions
- Challenge target definitions:
Consultant: Assess clarity and viability of targets
Consultant: Ensure alignment with organizational strategy
Consultant: Use data and analysis to support challenges or adjustments
Coach: Encourage teams to reflect on their targets and explore innovative solutions
Coach: Use questioning techniques to promote deeper thinking about targets and priorities
- Create and provide additional data-driven progress reports where needed:
Consultant: Leverage analytics tools and insights to track performance
Consultant: Present insights and recommendations that support decision-making
Coach: Guide individuals in understanding and using data effectively
Coach: Encourage teams to self-monitor and take ownership of progress tracking
- Identify interdependencies and/or overlaps, and help to resolve conflicts:
Consultant: Get the dots connected, map processes and identify systemic risks
Consultant: Provide strategies for optimizing resources and resolving bottlenecks and conflicts
Coach: Mediate discussions between stakeholders to strengthen (cross-functional) collaboration
Coach: Encourage empathetic communication and mutual understanding to resolve conflicts
Be a project management expert:
Define standards and ensure continuous development of (agile) project management methods, processes,
templates and tools for non-customer projects, especially for strategy execution
Oversee implementation and correct application of defined standards
Support individuals and/or teams in project management methodologies.
Be a trainer and foster learning:
Develop role specific respectively target group specific learning material and learning journeys for our methods, processes and tools
Conduct individual or group trainings and workshops
Be a facilitator and drive execution:
Moderate workshops and progress meetings to foster cross-functional alignment
Actively follow-up on agreed actions and tracking implementation progress
Be a change manager:
Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders
Derive required actions to maximize employee adoption and usage of changes
Identify and manage anticipated and persistent resistance
Support professional (change) communication
Job Requirements (Qualifications, Skills, Experience, Competencies)
- University degree (Bachelor's, Master's, MBA) in business administration, (business) engineering, general /
- strategic management or equivalent work experience
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in different functions that allowed connecting the dots
- Proven expertise in project management methods, agile frameworks (especially OKRs) and related tools
- Implementation and result-oriented with strong analytical and strategic planning skills
- Strong leadership skills in leading without authority
- High empathy and strong ability to understand and share the feelings of others, fostering positive relationships and effective communication.
- Knowledge in the field of change management and already practical experience
- Highly motivated and dynamic with a positive can do attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team
- Interpersonal skills with the gravitas and experience to successfully engage and manage a multiple stakeholder environment
- Not afraid to get involved at all levels of the organization
- Excellent English skills
