WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
This is a really exciting role in an environment that has so much opportunity for a HR
professional. Reporting into the Manager, People & Talent, SEA, you will provide
exceptional people support to the South East Asia region, particularly Singapore, Australia,
and Malaysia. You will be be the HR point of contact for employees in our SEA region and
provide proactive consultation and direction in areas of employee/ labor relations to market
heads and managers of your respective region.
You will be hands on and act as the role model to constantly drive changes and challenge
existing practices and seek for ideas and ways to enhance the employee experience at
Assembly, while embedding DE&I and social impact initiatives in the culture.
Below is just a small window into what this role is now. It will be up to you to make this role
your own.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING ON ANY GIVEN DAY
Be the HR point of contact for employees in your respective office(s) and provide
world class employee experience Execute and own all round HR transactional responsibilities including but not limited
to, employment contracts and letters preparation, on & off boarding processes, payroll
process
Provide proactive consultation and direction in areas of employee/labor relations to
market heads and managers, and employees
Provide HR procedures and policies guidance to different internal stakeholders
Work closely with the rest of the regional and global people team to localise, align,
and implement HR processes, policies, and initiatives
Maintain and ensure accurate record on our global HRIS
Update, implement, and maintain company policies in accordance to local regulations
and constantly flag out any legislative changes
Work with Office Manager where necessary
Manage and look at ways of improving employee benefits with insight from market
trends and internal needs
Manage HR and Office budget
Drive employee engagement and retention activities in partnership with regional
People & Talent Team
Requirements
DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or a related field
Strong knowledge of people best practices and employment labor law in Singapore;
exposure/ experience in other South East Asia markets would be advantageous
4+ years HR generalist experience within an international, fast-paced and customer
driven environment
You will bring a positive energy, even in times of adversity.
Analytical and data driven
Successfully demonstrated results orientated business partnering with Managers and
Leaders with ability to build rapport with key stakeholders quickly with tailored
messages and style appropriately to different audiences.
Excellent eye for detail, you make sure all the t's are crossed and i's dotted!
Advanced communications skills for example being able to make the complicated
simple, and the dull compelling Ability to work with key stakeholders with discretion and sensitivity across all levels
of the business
Innovative, proactive, and pragmatic solutions based style
Must be highly organised, flexible team player with excellent prioritisation and strong
follow-up skills.
