As a People Services Specialist (HR Shared Services), you will play a critical role in delivering accurate, compliant, and customer focused HR operational support across the APJ region, with opportunities to support additional regions as part of a global Follow the Sun service model. You will work closely with HR Business Partners, People Experience, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, IT, and external vendors to ensure a smooth and consistent employee experience across the full employee lifecycle.

In this role, you will primarily support Tier 1 inquiries, with exposure to Tier 2 support as needed, while contributing to operational excellence through strong execution, attention to detail, and continuous improvement. You will help strengthen data quality, support process enhancements, and contribute to improving Tier 0 self service content, enabling employees and managers to find accurate answers quickly and confidently.

Your Impact

  • Manage candidates through the offer and onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition from offer acceptance, background checks through day one readiness.
  • Coordinate and administer onboarding activities, including documentation preparation, HR system transactions (e.g., Workday), and facilitation of new hire orientation.
  • Execute changes in Workday for employee life cycle changes.
  • Manage end-to-end offboarding processes, including preparation and distribution of termination documentation, system updates, and coordination of final day requirements.
  • Conduct exit interviews for voluntary terminations, ensuring timely completion and proper documentation is collected and provided.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate processes, participate in identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain and update SOPs, job aids, templates, and operational documentation to support consistency and cross training.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for APJ employees and managers regarding HR related inquiries, providing clear guidance, timely follow-up, and high-quality employee experience.
  • Support Tier 1 and, as needed, Tier 2 inquiries via the Zendesk ticketing system, ensuring appropriate prioritization, resolution, and escalation.
  • Partners with Payroll team(s) and vendors support monthly payroll activities, resolve payroll related inquiries, and assist with tax related processes such as clearances.
  • Act as back up for other Specialists within your region, and learn and execute work that can be done anywhere e.g. Employment verification letters, or updating Workday etc.
  • Support employee benefits administration, including Open Enrollment activities and ongoing benefits changes (joiners, leavers, life events), partnering with the global Benefits team and vendors to resolve issues and ensure accurate coverage.
  • Provide immigration and work authorization support as applicable, including work pass and dependent pass applications, renewals, cancellations, and entry approvals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Singapore government agencies (e.g., MOM, CPF, IRAS) and coordinate required employment related submissions and inquiries in compliance with local regulations.
  • Contribute to regional and global HR projects, audits, system enhancements, and service delivery improvements.
  • Collaborate across time zones to support service continuity during peak periods and business critical activities.
  • Other duties as needed


What You'll Need

  • Site responsibilities may vary based on business needs and are requested and assigned by Manager and/or Team Lead review
  • Assist Payroll with periodic administrative activities, including required survey submissions (e.g., CPF-related responses).
  • Support HR with government-related invoices and administrative processes, including levies, work pass fees, and applicable government support schemes.
  • Provide facilities related support for APJ offices, including coordination of office seating arrangements.
  • Other duties as requested.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of HR operations or shared services experience, preferably supporting multiple APJ countries in a multinational environment.
  • Proficiency in Workday (preferred) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with a customer service mindset.
