As a People & Culture Intern, you will play a key role in driving transformation, fostering employee engagement, strengthening employer branding, and making NCIS a great place to work. This internship is ideal for those passionate about human resources, organizational development, internal communications, and culture-building initiatives.
1. Drive Employee Engagement & Workplace Culture Initiatives
Assist in planning and executing employee engagement programs to foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
Support the development of staff well-being initiatives, including recognition programs, social events, and team-building activities.
Gather employee feedback through pulse surveys and focus groups to understand workplace sentiment and suggest improvements.
2. Support Employer Branding & Internal Communications
Assist in crafting engaging internal communication content, such as newsletters, intranet updates, and leadership messages.
Work on employer branding efforts to showcase NCIS as an employer of choice, including employee stories, social media content, and career outreach programs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to create materials for recruitment marketing, career fairs, and onboarding programs.
3. Contribute to People Transformation & Change Management Projects
Support the People & Culture team in initiatives that enhance organizational culture and workplace transformation.
Assist in benchmarking best practices in employee engagement and workplace excellence.
Work with stakeholders to improve employee onboarding, learning experiences, and workplace policies.
4. Assist in Data & Insights Gathering for HR & Culture Programs
Support the tracking and analysis of employee engagement data to measure the impact of initiatives.
Help with research on industry trends in workplace transformation, talent engagement, and well-being.
Provide administrative and project support to ensure smooth execution of HR and culture-building initiatives.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Communications, Marketing, Psychology, or related fields.
Passionate about employee engagement, workplace transformation, and employer branding.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to create engaging content.
Creative mindset with the ability to conceptualize and execute culture-building initiatives.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with graphic design, video editing, or content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, social media platforms) is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across different teams.
Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
