Role Description
This role is part of a forward-thinking team that relies on subject matter expertise of the HR/employment processes and empathy skills to deliver on Workplace Commitments to provide employees with more care and support during ER processes. As a Care Specialist, you will:
- Act as a neutral, single point of contact who can help employees connect directly with resources or HR partners
- Provide guidance to a diverse population on a wide range of potentially sensitive, confidential and difficult topics with utmost discretion
- Center employee care and well-being during and after an ER process (investigations and workplace concerns)
- Help translate Care insights into actions that support the organization's culture
- Join a dynamic global team; working occasional non-standard business hours may be necessary
Responsibilities
- Support market-based (APAC) employee raising or responding to concerns (investigations and workplace concerns)
- Deliver frontline HR service to employees through direct and live engagement
- Create inclusive, psychologically safe settings with empathy and active listening
- Help develop customized care plans that center well-being, transparency, and agency
- Independently manage Care Program referrals from the regional ER team
- Apply organization business, policies, people processes and resources appropriately and equitably
- Manage cases throughout the ER process using internal tools
- Adhere to service level agreements and program procedures with all stakeholders
- Maintain program administration and sensitive information (utilization and efficacy) within privacy requirements
- Gather, analyze and present data and insights for ongoing cross-training, program improvements and aggregate reporting
- Contribute to project work within and across functions as needed
Minimum Qualifications (MQs)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experiences
- 5 years of Human Resources experience including investigations/complaint procedures/case management/program management
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to work occasional non-standard US hours to accommodate global team structure
Preferred Qualifications (PQs)
- Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and decision-making
- Ability to build trust and rapport across diverse audiences
- Excellent communication skills with a particular focus on empathetic listening, conflict resolution, de-escalation and risk mitigation
- Coaching or counseling experience on sensitive people matters
