The Firm has a strong market reputation for providing exceptional client service and delivering results for its international and domestic clients in complex cross-border commercial disputes, with a focus on international arbitration, commercial litigation, restructuring and insolvency, and fraud and asset recovery.

About the Role

The People & Talent, Senior Manager is responsible for advising and executing on the strategy and operations for all peoplerelated matters at the Firm. The purpose of the role is to ensure that the Firm continues to attract, develop, reward, and retain highcalibre legal and professional talent, whilst maintaining robust governance, compliance, and cultural alignment in a highperformance disputes practice which has an international focus.

This role is most suited for a motivated, self-driven and organised individual who is experienced in working alongside lawyers in a fast-paced and professional working environment. This role reports directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Advisory: Trusted advisor to Managing Director and CEO on People & Talent strategy, organisational growth and transformation.
  • Employee Lifecycle: Own and manage the full employee lifecycle from recruitment, onboarding, performance management, professional development, progression and exits for interns, trainees, lawyers and business support professionals. Responsible for submitting MOM work pass and LSRA applications.
  • Resource Strategy: Advise and execute on workforce planning, competency frameworks, and HR budget tracking.
  • Total Rewards: Continually review and advise on the Firm's Total Rewards framework, including compensation, bonuses, benefits, and non-financial rewards to ensure that the Firm remains market-competitive. Advise on employee mobility and cross-border arrangements, including secondments and international collaborations.
  • Talent Development & Wellbeing: Oversee the meeting of SILE requirements by trainees undergoing Relevant Legal Training or Practice Training with the Firm. Support CPD and upskilling needs, including leadership development, and sustainable working practices.
  • Payroll, Leave & Expense: Own and manage payroll, leave and expense administration. Ensure compliance with Singapore tax and employment laws.
  • Policies and Compliance: Review HR policies, guidelines and processes to ensure Firm's compliance with Singapore employment law, and consistency with industry best practices pursuant to MOM, MinLaw, SILE, LSRA, SAL and/or Law Society guidelines, and conduct trainings in this regard.

We are looking for

  • A team-player who is a self-initiated problem-solver that thrives in a dynamic high-performing environment, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • CHRBP and CHRS (Payroll) certified. Certification in career coaching will be viewed favorably.
  • Minimum 6 years experience in a similar role in a professional services environment in Singapore, preferably in a law firm.
  • Strong working knowledge of Singapore employment law with proven capability across employee lifecycle management, total rewards and human resource governance, with strong project management skills.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English. Proficiency in Chinese will be viewed favorably.
  • Singapore citizen or Singapore permanent resident
