PE RE Fund Accounting, Associate Director (Singapore)

Our client, a professional corporate, funds and trust services provider, is looking for an experienced fund accounting professional to lead a Private Equity Fund Administration team. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and a proven track record in private equity fund operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the fund accounting team focused on private equity and real estate structures.

• Oversee fund launches from inception to full implementation.

• Review capital account statements, capital calls, distribution notices, and quarterly reports. Review complex waterfall and equalization calculations.

• Review and prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

• Coordinate with cross-functional internal & external stakeholders for operational efficiencies, and continuously drive process enhancements initiatives.

• Establish and maintain strong client relationships, including representing the firm in networking events, marketing pitches and client meetings.

• Demonstrate leadership skills in mentoring and guiding team members.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional qualification (CA / CPA) is preferred.
• At least 10+ years of relevant experience in Private Equity and Real Estate fund accounting.
• Strong technical knowledge of fund structures, accounting principles, and waterfall / equalization models.
• Ambitious and motivated with a passion for leadership and professional growth.
