Job Description
ThunderSoft is looking for 2 experienced PDE SLT Engineers to join our team in Singapore, supporting advanced AMD Data Center products.
If you have a strong background in post-silicon validation, system-level testing, firmware/software debugging, or low-level system debug, this could be a great opportunity to work with cutting-edge CPU/GPU and SoC technologies.
What You'll Do
• Drive and develop SLT FTR regression infrastructure for weekly firmware/software releases before integration into SLT test programs.
• Identify complex and non-recurring firmware/software issues early and work closely with engineering teams to drive them to resolution.
• Perform engineering evaluation, root-cause analysis, and technical debugging to support production issue closure.
• Develop and apply new debugging techniques to improve product quality, test coverage, and integration efficiency.
• Work closely with Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Firmware, Software, and other global engineering teams.
• Take technical ownership of challenging low-level system debug issues across AMD Data Center product families.
• Share technical knowledge and mentor junior engineers where needed.
What We're Looking For
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience in semiconductor, system validation, product engineering, test engineering, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of X86 architecture, GPU architecture, SoC design, and power management.
• Hands-on experience with post-silicon validation, system-level testing, firmware/software debugging, or electrical/mixed-signal debug.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, analyzers, logic analyzers, or other hardware debugging tools.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in one or more of: C, C++, Python, Perl, Ruby, or Java.
• Good working knowledge of Windows, Linux, and/or Unix environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex system-level issues.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with geographically distributed engineering teams.
• Data center infrastructure experience is a plus.
Education
• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
Working Arrangement
• Location: Singapore
• Headcount: 2
• Shift-based working schedule, including night/weekend shifts
• Full-time position
Why Join
• Work on advanced AMD Data Center products and next-generation CPU/GPU technologies.
• Gain deep exposure to post-silicon validation, system-level testing, and low-level debugging.
• Work with experienced global Product and Test Engineering teams.
• Take ownership of technically challenging system debug and validation problems.
• Opportunity to further develop your expertise in semiconductor and data center technologies.
