PCB Design Engineer

Brief Summary

Join a dynamic team as a Hardware Design Support Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in PCB layout design and documentation management, ensuring project milestones are achieved.

Responsibilities

• Support hardware developers during board schematic capture to meet design requirements. Responsible for PCB layout using Cadence Allegro. Manage the design review process prior to the release of designs. Prepare, release, and ensure compliance with all PCB documentation while adhering to project timelines. Administer CAD library, including symbol and footprint generation, alongside database management. Create components and 3D models of PCBAs, collaborating with Mechanical Design Engineers on design constraints. Liaise with PCB manufacturers to clarify design requirements and troubleshoot encountered issues. Coordinate with Process Engineers at the product factory to ensure design requirements are met and resolve problems during PCB assembly.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in PCB layout design. Proficiency in Cadence Allegro, Altium, or similar electronic design software. Experience in high-speed, mixed-signal, power, and RF board design is advantageous. Strong understanding of IPC-2221 standards. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
