Our client is a leading industrial player and is seeking a meticulous and experienced Payroll Specialist to manage and process end-to-end payroll in-house for their Singapore operations.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Process monthly payroll for all employees, including calculation of salaries, bonuses, overtime, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., CPF, IRAS, SDL, SHG, NS make-up pay, etc.).
- Handle employee queries related to payroll, tax filings, and other compensation matters.
- Prepare and submit monthly payroll reports, bank files, and statutory filings.
- Ensure timely submission of IR8A, Form IR21, and other relevant tax documentation.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (HR, Finance) for payroll inputs and approvals.
- Stay updated on changes to labor laws, tax regulations, and CPF guidelines.
- Support audits and ensure proper documentation of all payroll processes.
To be eligible for this role you will require:
- Degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on payroll experience, preferably with in-house processing.
- Strong knowledge of local payroll regulations and statutory compliance.
- Proficient in payroll systems , preferably SuccessFactors.
- High attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
