About the role
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll. This role ensures accurate and timely salary processing, statutory compliance, and audit readiness. The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management
- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing, including salaries, allowances, overtime, shift payments, deductions, and reimbursements.
- Compute final salary payments, leave encashment and notice pay where applicable.
- Ensure payroll accuracy, confidentiality and timely salary disbursement.
- Reconcile payroll reports and maintain proper documentation for audit readiness.
- Administer and ensure timely submission of CPF, SDL, IR8A, IR21 and other statutory filings.
- Process government leave claims and reimbursements.
- Handle payroll-related queries from employees.
- Ensure compliance with the Employment Act, MOM regulations, IRAS and CPF requirements and internal HR policies.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Prepare and submit regulatory reporting (e.g. MOM surveys, ILTC manpower updates).
- Maintain accurate employee data across systems, trackers and personnel files.
- Support HR audits and grant applications with accurate data and documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and systems.
- Support HR projects and ad-hoc assignments as required.
- Support the shaping of the Lodge's culture through consistent HR practices and staff engagement.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in HR Management.
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience, with hands-on end-to-end payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Employment Act, CPF, IRAS and statutory compliance requirements.
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Able to manage multiple priorities independently and as part of a team.
- Resilient, resourceful and hands-on.
