Job Summary

Manage accurate and timely monthly payroll processing while ensuring compliance with Singapore statutory requirements. Maintain payroll records, handle employee queries, prepare reports, and support audits. Assist with HR administrative duties as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, including overtime, allowances, and deductions to ensure salary accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore statutory requirements such as CPF, SDL, and IRAS tax regulations to maintain legal adherence
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records in the HR/payroll system to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Respond professionally and promptly to payroll-related queries from employees to provide clear and timely information
  • Prepare payroll reports and management reports to support financial oversight
  • Provide necessary payroll documentation to support internal and external audits for transparency and accountability
  • Administer employee benefits, claims, and leave records accurately to maintain up-to-date employee information
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of payroll records to facilitate easy retrieval and compliance verification
  • Assist in HR administrative duties as assigned to support overall HR operations and team effectiveness

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant payroll experience
  • Familiarity with Singapore Employment Act and statutory regulations
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees and authorities
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience handling payroll for large headcount organizations
  • Knowledge of HR systems such as Info-Tech, SAP, or similar platforms
  • Prior experience in outsourced payroll, cleaning and service industry environments
