Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

Provide payroll and HR systems support for Asia-Pacific offices, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining reliable employee data across HR platforms. This role focuses on routine payroll operations, HRIS maintenance, reporting, and system-related support to enable efficient HR operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Payroll Administration (Primary Focus)

  • Maintain and update payroll records for local staff and Asia-Pacific offices, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
  • Prepare monthly payroll inputs including overtime, allowances, commissions, deductions, and other adjustments
  • Support the end-to-end payroll processing cycle and month-end payroll closing activities
  • Generate and distribute monthly and commission pay slips
  • Assist in the preparation of statutory filings, payroll reports, and audit documentation
  • Liaise with employees to address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies
  • Coordinate with external payroll vendors and finance teams where applicable

HR Systems & Data Management

  • Maintain employee data in HR information systems (HRIS), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of updates
  • Support system transactions related to employee lifecycle changes (new hires, transfers, salary changes, terminations)
  • Perform regular data validation and reconciliation between HR systems and payroll records
  • Generate routine and ad hoc reports from HR and payroll systems to support HR and management needs
  • Assist in maintaining data integrity across multiple systems used by Asia-Pacific offices
  • Support system testing, upgrades, or implementation activities as required
  • Reporting & Compliance Support
  • Assist in preparing HR and payroll reports for internal stakeholders and statutory requirements
  • Support audits by providing payroll and HR data documentation when required
  • Maintain proper documentation and records in accordance with company policies and local regulations
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive employee and payroll information

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Approximately 2 years of experience in payroll administration, HR systems support, or HR operations
  • Candidates with less experience but relevant exposure are welcome to apply
  • Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems is highly advantageous
  • Knowledge of statutory requirements in Singapore and/or ASEAN region is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
