Payroll Analyst / Regional Payroll Specialist / Regional Payroll Manager

Role Description

The Payroll Analyst / Regional Payroll Specialist / Regional Payroll Manager supports accurate, timely payroll and reliable employee pay records. Responsibilities include validating inputs, reconciling payroll results, investigating discrepancies, coordinating payment schedules, and working with HR, Finance, and payroll providers.

The Analyst focuses on data checks, variance analysis, and reporting. The Regional Specialist coordinates payroll across assigned countries, while the Regional Manager leads teams and providers, oversees controls and service performance, and directs improvements across regional payroll processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in payroll processing, analysis, or regional payroll delivery appropriate to the position.
• Understanding of payroll calculations, deductions, benefits, variable payments, and employee changes.
• Ability to validate inputs, reconcile payroll outputs, and investigate payment discrepancies.
• Strong Excel skills and experience using payroll platforms, HR systems, and reporting tools.
• Ability to manage deadlines and maintain confidential employee and compensation records.
• Strong communication skills for resolving enquiries with employees, HR, Finance, and providers.
• For analyst positions, experience preparing variance reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• For regional specialist positions, experience coordinating country payroll calendars, local requirements, providers, and issue resolution.
• For regional manager positions, proven experience leading teams, overseeing payroll controls and vendors, and improving delivery across multiple countries.
