We are currently seeking a Payment Operations Specialist to join our subsidiary in Singapore, HQ APAC in providing support to our Asia payments team.
Role Overview
The Payment Operations Specialist - APAC is responsible for ensuring the stability, accuracy, and efficiency of online payment operations across APAC markets, with a particular focus regional payment flows. The role acts as a key operational interface between business, IT, and external payment partners, supporting both day-to-day operations and regional payment initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor, test, and validate payment transactions to ensure accuracy, system stability, and compliance with internal policies and regional requirements.
Handle operational tickets related to incoming payments, payouts, chargebacks, and fraud cases, ensuring timely investigation, resolution, and communication.
Support management in all matters related to payment methods, payment systems, and regional payment flows, with a strong focus on APAC markets.
Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of in-house online payment systems and operational tools.
Investigate and resolve payment-related incidents in close collaboration with internal teams (IT, Finance, Risk) and external partners (PSPs, banks, scheme providers).
Act as an operational interface to IT development teams by contributing to sprint preparation, clarifying operational requirements, and ensuring payment-related user stories are well defined and ready for implementation.
Prepare and maintain technical and operational documentation, including process descriptions, incident reports, and change logs.
Support the rollout of new payment methods, system enhancements, and configuration changes across APAC, including post-go-live monitoring and stabilization.
What You Will Work With
Payment technologies such as online payment gateways, global and regional PSPs, alternative payment methods, ERP systems, APIs, and automation tools used across APAC markets.
Operational processes including transaction monitoring, incident and error handling, fraud and chargeback workflows, reconciliations, reporting, and structured change management.
Cross-functional collaboration with IT development teams, Finance, Risk, and external partners across different regions and time zones (APAC and EU).

Requirements
Degree in Information Technology, Business Technology, Finance, or a comparable field, with a strong technical or systems-oriented background.
Minimum two years of relevant professional experience in international online payments, payment gateways, or payment operations experience with APAC markets, especially Singapore, is a strong advantage.
Hands-on experience with ticketing tools such as JIRA basic knowledge of SQL or data analysis tools is considered a competitive advantage.
Strong ability and willingness to quickly learn new systems, payment platforms, and regional payment methods.
Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with a high level of ownership and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, partners, and regions.
Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory additional Asian languages are considered a plus.
